You may need to adjust this if the employee was absent for a week or they got holiday pay in the period.

The program calculates the average pay in 2 different ways depending on the frequency of pay.
Weekly: Total of 8 weeks pay / no of weeks
Monthly: Total of month(s) pay / no of months *12/52 ie the running average of the yearly salary / 52 weeks
Ensure you enter the correct no of weeks for each calculation eg if only 3 2weekly payments are recorded(entered) enter 6 in the no of weeks. If there are no payments then enter what the week/month pay should have been & divide by 1
The 'Amount' is the NIC pay.
